Chinese Consul General in Calgary Zhao Liying Attends 2026 China Pavilion Networking Seminar
On June 10, 2026, Consul General Mme. Zhao Liying attended the 2026 China Pavilion Networking Seminar and the 4th China-Canada Energy cooperation Forum. The event brought together more than 300 representatives from the Alberta government, think tanks, and Canadian and Chinese energy companies.
In her remarks, Mme. Zhao highlighted the positive momentum in China-Canada relations and recent progress in energy cooperation. She emphasized the strong potential for deeper collaboration and new opportunities amid the global energy transition.
The event was co-hosted by the Canada China Association of Enterprises, The Chinese Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association of Calgary, and the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association.
