BOSTON, MA, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) has hired Rebecca Thompson as director of government affairs. Thompson brings over 20 years’ experience in autism services.

Her work spans autism diagnosis in children, delivery of applied behavior analysis (ABA) services, clinical research, and federal and state advocacy. She is a licensed psychologist and holds a Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral (BCBA-D) credential.

During her long tenure at LEARN Behavioral, Thompson served as vice president of advocacy and director of clinical services. She has experience leading government affairs efforts in 17 states across the country. Her clinical research was published in Behavior Analysis Practice.

Thompson has served in numerous public policy leadership roles, including:
• President of the Wisconsin Autism Providers Association.
• Chair of Massachusetts Providers for ABA Access & Quality.
• President of Illinois Providers for ABA Access & Quality.
• Board Member of Autism United Wisconsin.
• Provider representative on the Wisconsin Governor’s Autism Council.
